Following a successful derby this year the 98 the Beach Chantry Chinook Classic Fishing Derby is set to go for another year.
Derby Chair Todd Devries says following a recent meeting it was decided the event would run one day longer as well.
Devries is pleased to report anglers will have three full weekend to “catch the big one”.
He will be the chair next year, and says new board members have recently joined — bringing plenty of new ideas.
The event runs next year July 24 – Aug 8.
