Simcoe Grey MP Helena Guergis is saying little about the charges laid against her husband.
Former Alberta Conservative MP Rahim Jaffer was arrested just after midnight last Thursday by the OPP in Palgrave, north of Toronto.
The 37 year old is charged with drunk driving and possession of cocaine.
Guergis has issued a statement saying she takes the issue very seriously and she loves her husband.
She says she is waiting for more information before making any further comments.
