Marg Shannon – President of Harriston Minto Agricultural Society says the festivities for the 150th edition kick off Friday night at the Community Centre in Harriston.

Saturday continues the festivities with certain events marking the 150th anniversary.
There are heritage demonstrations to mark the anniversary such as wool spinning and an antique knitting machine.
Saturday also has the popular midway continuing – baby show – parade at noon and kids bale roll.
The bale roll is an event which kids search for marked popsicle sticks in the hay to return for cash prizes.
