We’ll know more tonight about when the new Owen Sound Family Health team clinic will be open to the public.
Lead physician for the team, Doctor Cam Tweedie, tells Bayshore Broadcasting News he’ll lead a delegation to Owen Sound council tonight.
Doctor Tweedie says at that time, he’ll reveal the location of the clinic, and the time frame for when it should be up and running.
The Family Health team is made up of 18 physicians and Doctor Tweedie says getting everyone in one building is a big step.
Although the site for the new clinic remains a mystery, speculation has centred on land next to Shoppers drug mart in downtown Owen Sound.
Ministry of Health approval would be needed before the project can proceed.
