A Meaford man faces charges after being clocked at over 100 kilometres an hour over the speed limit.
Grey County OPP say an officer clocked a vehicle at 191 kilometres an hour in an 80-k zone on Grey Road 18 in Georgian Bluffs around 8 AM Sunday.
The officer later located the vehicle in a ditch south of Grey Road 18 on concession 6 in Meaford and the driver had believed to have fled on foot.
The OPP K-9 unit and Emergency Response Team responded and searched the thick bush area and found the suspect eight hours later — around 4 PM.
The 37 year old man from Meaford has been charged with Failing to Remain at a Collision and dangerous driving.
He will appear in an Owen Sound court on October 22nd.
