Theres a new flight school at the Owen Sound Billy Bishop Regional Airport.
Council has approved the operation of the school by the Midland Flight Centre.
It’ll replace the former Owen Sound Flight Services, which flew the coop earlier this summer and is now based in Wiarton.
City Director of Operations John Johnston says airport manager Barry Lewin deserves the credit for working hard to attract Midland Flight Centre to Owen Sound.
