If you have pets at home then now is your chance to show them off.
Canadian magazine “Our Canada” is challenging pet owners to get out their cameras and enter in the All Canadian Pet-tacular Contest being held until mid September.
Editor of Our Canada Simon McDermott says they want to see videos and photographs of any kind of pet.
McDermott says the contest is split into two category’s: videos and photographs and the first place prize is one thousand dollars.
Second place prize is seven hundred and fifty dollars and third place get five hundred dollars.
McDermott says the contest is not just for cats and dogs – but every kind of pet.
He says to enter you need to create a profile at www.ourcanada.ca and from there you can upload your photo or video to be judged.
The deadline to enter your pet is on September 14th and some of the winning photos will be featured in the magazine.
McDermott says they haven’t received any entries from Bruce and Grey Counties yet.
He says they have not received any entries of out of the ordinary pets – only dogs, cats and a few birds.
McDermott says the site is a great tool for all pet lovers because members can chat with one another about their pet tips and tricks.
