Another fall fair to take in if you are out and about this Holiday Weekend.
Kincardine’s 158th Fall Fair kicked off Friday with the showcasing of displays in the Pavilion at Connaught park.
Kincardine Agricultural Spokesperson Watson Morris they also are are featuring a dog show this year and for the first time a poultry show.
He says the big fall fair parade begins at 11:30 AM this morning and goes from the farmers market down queen street to Connaught Park.
Morris also says there will be a saddle horse competition along with the 4 H Dairy and Beef achievement day.
In addition there also will be cattle judging, bale rolling and throwing plus a number of food exhibits and musical entertainment.
Morris says a big focus a the fair this year will be the local food movement and just where our food comes from.
He says they are also trying to make the fair more environmentally friendly with even more opportunity to recycle on the grounds.
