A Southampton has been shot in the face with a pellet gun.
Saugeen Shores police services say they are investigating the incident which happened on Tuesday, Aug. 25th.
Police say a resident on Thompson Lane in Southampton, went out in front of his home to investigate what sounded like a pellet gun and glass breaking.
While outside, the unidentified homeowner was struck in the chin with a pellet.
Police report he was taken to hospital, and then transferred to London Health Sciences Centre where the pellet was removed.
The investigation continues.
