This is the week many parents will be trying to get their kids back into their school rountines.
And there’s only one more weekend to get school supplies and back to school clothes.
A few people in our area tell Bayshore Broadcasting News they’ve started buying backpacks, snack bags, school supplies and clothes for their kids.
Most of them say they’ll spend anywhere from a hundred to two hundred dollars per kid which can really add up fast especially if they have three kids.
A few parents tell us they’re taking a short vacation to end the summer off right and then they’ll be getting their kids to bed earlier and themselves too.
One mom says she made sure her kids stayed in their routines all summer so it will be easier when school does start.
School is starting a bit later this year since Labour Day is late.
The kids in most areas of Ontario go back on September 8th.
