The Maxwell Seniors Young at Heart Club has received a financial boost.
The group has been awarded a nearly 15 thousand dollar grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
The money will be used to improve the group’s facility — including the main hall and bowling alley ceiling and floors.
Bruce Grey Owen Sound MPP Bill Murdoch says the funding will allow seniors to stay active and get their physical activity in a safe building.
The Maxwell club is an active member of the United Senior Citizens of Ontario.
