A man is dead after jumping off the Main Street Bridge in Wasaga Beach.
Police were called to the bridge just before 9 o’clock last night.
They say the 39 year old Brampton man jumped, and people had lost sight of him.
The man jumped 20 feet head first into the river.
The man was located by rescuers 45 minutes later, and pronounced dead.
A post mortem is today at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie.
