There are still about 350 homes in the Blue Mountains and Collingwood area still without electricity.
The homes lost power during Thursday’s storm.
Hydro One officials hope to have power restored by Noon Saturday.
But the company says some rural customers and those in particularly hard-hit areas may be without electricity until later in the weekend.
There are still a handful of homes in the Durham area still without power.
Environment Canada confirmed Friday that indeed an F-2 tornado did touch down in Durham as well as the community of Vaughan, north of Toronto.
