We are hearing tremendous stories of survival after a tornado struck the Grey County community of Durham.
Jeff Reinhardt was working out in a gym when black clouds rolled in on Thursday afternoon.
Reinhart says the roof was torn off the building and he was tossed about eight metres across the room.
But Reinhardt escaped with only minor injuries and his left hand is bandaged.
Not everyone was as fortunate.
An 11 year old boy from the Durham was killed by Thursday’s tornado — he was at a day camp at the Durham Conservation Area.
Environment Canada confirmed Friday that indeed an F-2 tornado did touch down in Durham as well as the community of Vaughan, north of Toronto.
