There is a lot of money available to farmers who are looking to tackle environmental upgrades on their farms.
Jayne Dietrich is the Bruce County Environmental Farm Plan Program Representative.
She says there is a two day workshop for farmers in Bruce and Grey to find out more information on how they can take advantage of this money.
It runs Wednesday and Thursday of this week, and there is still room available for those looking to get educated.
Dietrich says there are about 36 projects eligible for funding.
Some include, improved manure storage and handling, manure treatment, farm yard run-off control measures, and well water management.
You need to register to attend the meetings and still can by leaving a message for Dietrich at (519) 367-5930.
More education sessions will be held in September.
All cost share funds are available on a first come first serve basis annually until 2013 through the Growing Forward program.
