It was the weekend beach-goers were waiting all summer for.
The highs on Saturday and Sunday were around 30 degrees celcius, but felt even warmer with the humidity.
The beaches in Wasaga and the area were packed all weekend.
And for most of each afternoon, traffic was only inching along Mosley Street heading towards the main beach.
But there was also a smog advisory issued all weekend because of the sticky weather.
Bayshore Broadcasting News asked a few people if it’s too hot now and everyone said absolutely now, this is what they’ve been wanting.
We also asked locals and visitors what they’ve been doing to enjoy the summery weather.
Many say they’ve been laying out in the sun or spending time with their families at their cottages.
They all agreed they’re trying to spend as much time as possible outside.
