The buskers are bountiful in Brockton this weekend.
All the festivities for the third annual Brocton Buskerfest happen in downtown Walkerton today from 10 AM to 4 PM.
The Manager of Walkerton and District Chamber of Commerce – Tracy Cassidy – says there are many events for the entire family.
Cassidy says the main event will be professional buskers – from around the globe – featured in shows on the top of the hour.
The buskers are variety acts like fire juggling and uni-cycling.
Children will have lots to do with face painting, clowns and an obstacle course.
For 2-dollars kids can enjoy all the events all day.
The majority of the funding comes from the municipality of Brockton.
From Jackson street to Colbome Street will be closed off to traffic for the event.
The main stage for the buskers will be on Colborne street.
Cassidy adds she hopes the event will showcase Walkerton and all the attractions for tourists – injecting cash into the economy.
