It is a unique chance to get a close up look at what happens on a local Elk Farm.
Regal Point Elk Farm is holding another Outdoors Elk Farm Expo tomorrow from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Regal Point owner Eric Robinson says this is the third year they have opened the gates of their farm so people can come out and see the Elk in full antler plus visit various agricultural and recreational displays.
Robinson says this year people can see a prize winning bull called Superstar which has just won first prize at the international antler competition in Omaha Nebraska.
He says people will also be able to sample some elk burgers as well.
Robinson says the market for Elk meat is growing as several U-S based studies show it is healthier than either beef, chicken or pork containing less fat and calories and highest in Iron.
He also says the market for his farms Elk meat is very local with all the product they produce being sold with about 20 miles of their operation.
Robinson says the Outdoor Elk Farm expo is a fundraiser for the Wiarton Rotary Club and admission is by donation.
Regal Point Elk farm is located one mile east of Oxenden.
