The blockade was back up at Site 41 in Tiny Township earlier this morning.
Huronia West OPP Constable Mark Kinney says six people are now facing charges of mischief after they blockaded the entrance to the future landfill.
He says officers informed the protestors that if they blocked the entrance, they would be in violation of the injunction and would face charges.
Two of the protestors were women, and there were four men.
Kinney says five of the six walked away with police, and only one had to be escorted.
He says the protestors are currently being held at the OPP’s Southern Georgian Bay Detachment, and hopefully they’ll be released later on today.
Kinney says they were all peaceful, and no other protestors are blocking entrances.
He says workers are back on site again.
