This man didn’t get the message.
Owen Sound Police arrested a 59 year old man early Saturday morning after he made not one — not two — but over 30 phone calls to the police department.
Police allege the man — who was drunk — called both the administrative phone line and 9-1-1 and made lewd and inappropriate comments to the female dispatchers.
Police say the man was advised numerous times not to call 9-1-1 unless it was an urgent matter.
Police also say the calls continued even though officers went to his apartment and cautioned him to stop late Friday night.
He was arrested at 1:45 AM Saturday.
The man was released later in the morning when he was sober.
He now has a date — in court — on September 17th, to answer to charges of making harassing phone calls.
