A 34 year old woman faces a long list of charges after a man was stabbed in Owen Sound.
Police were called to a home on 7th Avenue East last Friday night and they found a woman had been subdued by two men.
The police investigation determined the female had been sending text messages and calling one of the males the day before and it continued into Friday.
The messages increased in vulgarity and threatening language.
Police say two men were helping another person move furniture into an apartment when the female — who had been drinking — appeared with a knife in her hand.
One male believed she was going to puncture a tire of the motor vehicle — and when he went to stop her — she plunged the knife into his right upper thigh.
The second man came to help and was able to take the knife away — but he was bitten and scratched on both hands and arms and kicked in the groin.
Police recovered a folding knife — with a six inch serrated edge blade — was at the scene.
Both men were taken to hospital — the man who was stabbed needed stitches to close his wound.
34 year old Heather Flood of Owen Sound faces numerous charges — including two counts of assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm, uttering death threats and possession of a dangerous weapon.
She will be in Owen Sound court on Thursday.
