Here’s another reason why skateboarders should wear helmets.
A 15 year old Meaford is recovering from head injuries after a skateboarding mishap on St. Vincent Street around 9 PM Monday.
Grey County OPP say two women passing by, found the youth lying on the street at the bottom of the St. Vincent hill.
Police believe the youth was skateboarding down the hill and hit a manhole cover.
Police say he was not wearing a helmet and was taken to Meaford hospital with head injuries.
No word on how serious the injuries are.
