Collingwood’s Elvis festival is wrapping up today with some hallelujahs and amens.
Festival General Manager Rosmarie O’Brien says the Inspirational Elvis competition Sunday afternoon from 1 PM to 3 PM has become popular with the crowds, as well as the competitors.
She says when the gospel competition first got started, she had to ask the tribute artists to take part in it.
Now, she says, there’s a waiting list.
The final competition goes tonight at the Collingwood Arena.
The winner will compete at the tribute artists competition at Graceland later this year, and take home a three thousand dollar cash prize.
