Collingwood’s Elvis festival is in full swing today — with more than a hundred tribute artists competing and entertaining thousands of people.
This morning features a parade of classic cars down the main street and a show and shine until Noon.
The competitions and shows continue at various locations — including the Gayety Theatre, downtown parking lots and the Curling Club.
New this year at the festival is an area for kids at Millenium park, behind the grain terminal — and a clam bake — also at Millenium Park.
There’s a show at the Bear Estate also, and at various other locations around town.
To cut down on traffic troubles, a shuttle will take people from Parking lots at Cranberry Resort into Collingwood, stopping at all the venues.
