A good month of June for construction in South Bruce.
Chief Building Official Don Jackson says they issued 19 building permits last month with a total construction value over 1.3 million dollars.
The biggest sources of permit revenue were from a new home, a new dairy barn, and a manure storage facility.
Jackson says activity is about half of what it was last year.
But he says there has been a good blend of residential and agricultural construction taking place this year.
The building department in South Bruce has issued 92 permits so far this year with a construction value of 5.8 million dollars.
