The South West Local Health Integration Network is hosting a public meeting tonight in Hanover about health care.
It begins at 7 PM at the Hanover IWA Hall.
Hanover and District Hospital Chair Alan Fisher says it’s important as many residents as possible attend the meeting.
Fisher says the winds of change are in the air for our local health care system and its important Hanover and area residents are informed.
He says the Hanover hospital will suffer irreparable harm if the LHIN comes to town and the community doesn’t show sufficient interest in our local health care system.
Fisher wants residents to ask plenty of questions inquiring how any upcoming changes may impact the Hanover Hospital.
Tonight’s public community session is one of 17 that is taking place across the South West LHIN region.
These community sessions are part of the LHIN’s consultation process involved in developing their new Health Service Blue Print project.
The next local meeting will take in Owen Sound on Tuesday July 28th at the Bayshore Community Centre from 7 PM until 9 PM.
