There has been no confirmation that remains found in a field near Mount Forest are those of Tori Stafford.
But O-P-P Commissioner Julian Fantino says there are “strong leads” that are pointing police to that conclusion.
Police say the remains were found at about Noon yesterday by a member of the police team searching for the girl’s body.
Officers are combing the area and once a search is completed, the remains will be taken to Toronto for a forensic investigation.
Tori was last seen leaving her school with a woman on April 8th.
