Bruce Power is getting ready to say its annual thank you to its staff and the communities surrounding its facility.
This year’s Beach Party takes place tonight at Reunion Park and Station Beach in Kincardine.
Manager of Government Relations Ross Lamont says it starts at 6 PM and features entertainment, games, food, and other events for the whole family.
Other activities include Volleyball, kite flying, and sand sculpting.
The day wraps up at dusk with a fireworks display.
Lamont says they’re using their connections with the Toronto Blue Jays and the Rogers Centre and their travelling road show will be making a stop at the beach party.
Lamont says it was a huge hit with kids last year, so it’s coming back.
Lamont says the annual Beach Party is Bruce Power’s way of saying thank you to employees and the local community by giving a little back to them.
The Bruce Power Beach Party is free and shuttle bus service will be provided.
Buses begin at 5:45 PM and leave from the Davidson Centre and run every 15 minutes.
