As the Owen Sound MedQuest camp continues this week, several students who took part in the Walkerton MedQUEST are counting their money.
Kaitlyn Hundt-Lippett of Walkerton District Secondary School walked away from the week-long event last week with 250 dollars — winning the Director’s Award for making the most of her experience dukring the camp.
Katharina Garland of WDSS won the Counsellors’ Award.
Sacred Heart High School student Leah Carlton won the Peer Award.
MedQUEST is a medical-based summer camp for high school students interested in pursuing a career in the health care field.
For the first time, a similar camp is underway this week in Owen Sound.
