A few scary hours at a huge development under construction in Collingwood, when a stick of dynamite was found in the dirt.
The OPP’s Emergency Response Team was called just after 11 AM Monday to the Shipyards development at the base of Hurontario street.
Police say the explosive is likely an unused charge from work that was being done at the water front living units two years ago.
The stick of dynamite was removed at about 2 PM and taken to the public works department, where it was destroyed.
