The last of South Bruce Grey Health Centre’s sites is now online with electronic clinical documentation.
Director of Patient Care at the Durham site, Maureen Rydall says the Walkerton Hospital location was the last of the four sites to come on stream, in June.
Rydall says the system stores the majority of patient information.
She says it’s of great benefit to patients.
Rydall says any information that is put into the system is accessible to medical personnel throughout Bruce and Grey counties.
Rydall says it’s been an enormous learning process for the nursing staff but all have come through with flying colours with inputting patient documentation into computers.
