An Owen Sound woman will be spending a few weeks in a much hotter climate this summer.
Samantha Flett is the only Canadian amongst a delegation of missionaries heading to Mozambique next week.
The 41 year old says they’ll be helping an orphanage while there and she’s looking forward to cooking and playing with the children.
She’s already got her 26 hundred dollar airfare ticket thanks to friends, family and members of the Crossroads Victory Church.
Flett is also in the process of raising another thousand dollars or so to meet the required 4 thousand she needs to take part in the trip.
And the delegation is also taking donations for the orphanage.
