The Kincardine Scottish Festival and Highland Games attracted visitors from all over the region.
Bayshore Broadcasting News took a trip to the festival and asked some of the lads and lassies visiting what they enjoy most about the event.
One woman says she likes the history and how it brings the community together, while a man says he likes the pipe bands.
Another woman says she enjoys the dance competition and the band competition.
One man says he spends most of his time at the heavy event competition, another man says the same thing, but also enjoys the bagpipe competitions and looking at the the various wares for sale.
A man says he likes hearing the pipe band competition, while another says he himself is a piper, with the Lucknow and Brussels Legion Pipe Band.
A woman says her family came to see the highland dancing and her children enjoyed the activities offered for them, a man says he likes the bagpipes and the breeze coming in off Lake Huron.
Another woman sums it up in two words what she enjoys most — bagpipes and bands.
One woman says the music is great, the people are friendly, and she is having a great time.
Two men say they enjoy listening to the professional players and grade one level bands, and another says he’s there for the music.
