The provincial government has announced funding to repair the Beaver River Bridge in Thornbury.
The Town of the Blue Mountains and Grey County will receive 1.29 million dollars to pay for improvements to the bridge on Highway 26.
The money will come from the Connecting Link program — which enables municipalities to repair roads which connect two ends of a provincial highway in an urban area.
No word on when the project will be complete.
