Canada Day means chalk day near the Southampton Art Gallery.
The square in front of the Old Town Hall will become a massive cement canvas and everyone is invited to draw their pictures, with provided chalk on the squares.
Southampton Art Gallery manager Aly Boltman says families are invited to create works of art on the cement.
Boltman says these works of arts will remain on the square until the weather takes them away.
She says last year the art lasted the entire summer.
The art gallery will provide the chalk and all you do is add the creativity.
The event will run today from 10 AM to 2 PM.
Participation is by donation.
