Wasaga Beach will have two Canada Day parties July First.
At Nancy Island, the party starts at three o’clock with family activities and prizes for kids.
At Stonebridge Town Centre, the party starts at 11 AM with entertainment and greetings from the MP, a petting zoo and pony rides.
Fireworks at Stonebridge will go at 10 o’clock.
Collingwood’s Canada Day Festivities will take place downtown and at the Station on St. Paul street.
In the morning, there will be a pancake breakfast in front of town hall, then cake and a citizenship re-affirmation at about noon.
An all-afternoon concert begins at 2 PM at the Station, and the entertainment will be capped by Drew Wright’s band, Fall and Divide followed by a fireworks display.
The road to the grain terminals will be closed all day to accommodate the fireworks.
At the Village at Blue Mountain, there will be free activities all day, including street performers, guided hikes up Blue Mountain, and movies under the stars.
Thornbury’s Canada Day party includes a parade at 11 AM and a downtown barbecue to raise funds for the community health centre.
Thornbury’s fireworks go a dusk.
Creemore’s Canada Day Party is at the legion grounds, starting at 4 PM with a town picnic including sack races, log sawing competitions, a car and tractor show and fireworks at 9:50 PM.
