A couple of Grey County properties have been seized and sold after four years of legal wranglings.
Grey County OPP discovered a massive marijuana grow op near Kemble back in the fall of 2004 where they seized more than 33 hundred mature plants worth more than 1.3 million dollars.
That lead investigators to two more properties in West Grey and Chatsworth where large grow ops were also discovered.
Three men were charged.
Police believe all three operations were controlled by a criminal enterprise and that the seizures were just a fraction of the total amount of pot actually produced.
Under the law — two of the Grey County properties went under civil forfeiture meaning the Attorney General’s Office seized the properties and was able to disburse 155 thousand dollars to the victims of crime.
