Many Grey Bruce communities continue to benefit from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
The local Palliative Care Hospice Association has received 15 thousand dollars in funding.
The money will pay for a study to determine the local needs around respite palliative care with the goal of creating a hospice suite in Owen Sound.
The Paisley Kinsmen also received 20 thousand dollars to host the “Pickin’ by the Pond” music festival in Cargill on July 3rd to the 5th.
The money will be used to upgrade the stage and dance floor and cover the expenses for performers and marketing.
The Sydenham Conservation Foundation received 15 thousand dollars from the Trillium Foundation.
The funding will be used to establish a five acre educational tall grass prairie site in Grey County to store and filter ground water.
The Markdale Golf and Country Club also received 15 thousand dollars to build a new roof.
