Saugeen Shores has a new Chief Administrative Officer.
Larry Allison has served in the same role in the town of Innisfil near Barrie since 2004.
The selection was made by a committee composed of the mayor, councillors, and senior staff.
Mayor Mike Smith says he was impressed with Allison’s willingness to bring a new perspective to the town, while continuing the style of consensus building with staff that retiring CAO Ron Brown has offered.
Allison will be on the job effective August 17 and will spend the first couple of weeks overseeing the transition with Ron Brown.
