The Blue Mountain Resort is shuffling its management team around.
George Weider — son of resort founder Jozo Weider — will be retiring from his position as Chair.
That role will be taken over by Gord Canning who is stepping down as President as part of a longer term retirement plan.
He will stay keep the title of CEO as well.
George Weider became President in 1971 following his father’s death and took on the role of Chair in 1978.
The resort says the management changes will take effect over the summer as Blue Mountain prepares for the next winter ski season.
