A band with a strong Collingwood connection has won two awards at the MuchMusic Video Awards.
The Midway State, founded in Collingwood by Nathan Ferraro and Daenen Bramberger won best independent video and Favourite new artist of the year for their song, Never Again.
The band is now based in Toronto, and last night was hanging out with the likes of the Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga and the Jonas Brothers at the awards show in downtown Toronto.
Ferraro has also recorded a duet with Lady Gaga.
