It’s been open for a few months now — but the celebrations have just wrapped up.
A grand opening ceremony was held this afternoon for the new Neustadt Community Centre.
Tours were / are available for residents to view the new facility that cost 1.2 million dollars.
The Neustadt and District Lions Club contributed 150 thousand dollars.
The new community hall can hold 250 people, and has a large kitchen and washrooms that can both be used in conjunction with events at the arena.
The new hall replaces the one built in 1952.
