You would think that any group with a membership of over 400 would be satisfied with that.
However the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce is always looking for more to join up.
Chamber member Yvonne King has been conducting a membership drive for the Chamber.
At the Chamber membership and open house BBQ Thursday — King said the chamber has 410 members and she has just added another 15.
King says there are lots of advantages to being a Chamber of Commerce member.
She says members get preferred business referrals and there are several other programs offered that save operating costs for Chamber members.
King says although the actual membership drive is coming to an end, anyone can apply to be a member by going on the Chamber’s website or by dropping into the office on Goderich Street, in Port Elgin.
