A Meaford businessman will be remembered today.
The Meaford and District Chamber of Commerce, the Farmers Market and the BIA will plant the David Harper Memorial Tree.
The dedication ceremony will be held at 3 PM.
A sugar maple tree and stone with a memorial plaque will be located at the Pavilion area.
Harper passed away on May 2nd after a brief fight with pancreatic cancer.
He was 55.
Harper and his wife Barbara Kay moved to Meaford five years ago and started Stoneyfield Elk and the 100 Mile Market.
