An Owen Sound woman who is cycling across Canada will make it back to her hometown today.
Kathy Pecjak is taking part in the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride.
Her group will arrive in Tobermory at 1:10 PM today and ride into Owen Sound around 6 o’clock and stop at Sears at Heritage Place.
Then Pecjak and the 35 other cyclists will move on tomorrow morning to continue their journey to Halifax by June 24th.
The ride is hoping to generate 2 million dollars for Children’s Cancer Research.
Pecjak’s personal goal is 30 thousand dollars and officials say she has reached 80 per cent of her goal.
