Just in time for the start of summer — the price of gas has hit a dollar.
In Wasaga Beach and Collingwood, it will cost you 99.9 cents a litre at the pumps.
The price jumped above a dollar a litre this morning at several other stations across the region.
In Barrie, gas is going for anywhere from 99.6 to $1.03
In Owen Sound, Port Elgin, Walkerton and Meaford — a litre of regular unleaded is selling for $1.00 to $1.03 a litre.
Stations in Goderich are charging $1.02 a litre for regular, but you might get it a penny or two cheaper in locations like Clinton, Seaforth and Mitchell.
