The physical activity of children will be a hot topic in Owen Sound tonight.
A meeting is being held for local parents at the Alliance Church, beginning at 7 PM.
Parents will hear highlights of the annual report card by Active Healthy Kids Canada.
It notes research shows children who are physically active perform better in school than those who are not.
The report calls for more opportunities for kids to be active during and after school.
