The Bruce Trail takes centre stage today as South Bruce Peninsula and the Bruce Trail Conservancy partner up.
Hiking Leaders from two local clubs will lead participants on one of three hikes of various degrees of difficulty.
Its hoped the guided hikes will help raise local awareness of the Bruce Trail and show residents what a valuable asset it is.
“Hike the Peninsula” is a free event and Bruce County Tourism is also supplying participants with free walking sticks and an adventure passport.
