The Saugeen Economic Development Corporation is getting more money from the federal government.
Bruce Grey Owen Sound MP Larry Miller announced 300 thousand dollars in funding for the local economic organization on Friday.
The local Conservative MP says the funding will allow the group to offer services and access to money for small and medium sized businesses.
The Saugeen Economic Development Corporation is one of 61 Community Futures Development Corporations in Ontario.
The Corporation serves a vast region — which includes the municipalities of Arran-Elderslie, Brockton, South Bruce, Minto, Wellington North, Southgate, Grey Highlands, Chatsworth and West Grey.
Miller adds the corporation is a key player in stimulating new and expanded business opportunities.
