A 67 year old Port McNicoll man is going to spend the next six months in jail after being convicted of sex related offences.
Ronald Sauve pleaded guilty to two charges of sexual assault and one count of possession of child pornography.
He was sentenced to 180 days in jail and a 3 year probation term.
Sauve also received a lifetime ban from playgrounds and parks and other areas where children frequent.
He must also provide a DNA sample and his name will be on the sexual offender registry for 10 years.
Several other charges of sexual exploitation and possession of child pornography were withdrawn.
